This is a beautifully crafted piece of work that retains its natural wood color, sanded to perfection and varathaned. Rock it and listen to the clip clop of its hooves upon the chopper. The Giving Tree is a volunteer run woodshop in Seattle, Washington. They provide meaningful work for formerly and currently homeless individuals, youth, adults and senior adults through the manufacture of beautiful handcrafted toys. They maintain an environment of respect and dignity for all persons, where an individual’s talents can be recognized and cultivated and focused for the common good. Each toy is individually crafted, painted and assembled with particular attention paid to: Safety, Quality and Visual Appeal. The charm and timelessness about wooden toys makes them the perfect gift for children of all ages. Any toys not purchased, are donated to children in need.
